QuickQ’s one-tap path is written for phones and PCs. An Android TV that accepts an APK still has different VPN consent, background limits, and DRM; Apple TV has no client. Flashing third-party firmware on a home router to “run the same protocol” is not this site’s 2.5.0 install. To get a TV out: a TV build if the download page has one, or an always-on PC/soft-router as gateway. Do not scrape “cracked QuickQ for TV.”
TUN on a Linux box: Linux—that is a computer, not the ONT. Windows TAP: TAP. If the download page has no TV row, that is the answer.
What actually breaks on a box
VPN consent on a D-pad: OK/Cancel, timeout, then buried in Settings. OEM savers kill the tunnel; TVs rarely expose “unrestricted battery” like Always-on on a phone. eMMC hates overlay installs; you get a half-written package faster than on a Pixel.
No per-app: the whole box enters the tunnel, including voice, store, and license DRM. Smart routing UI from the phone article barely exists here—smart.

An upstream gateway is calmer than a VPN on the TV
A small always-on host runs QuickQ (respect device/session caps so it does not kick your phone). The TV’s default gateway is that host. The TV has no tunnel of its own; DRM stays on the vendor path; browse goes via the gateway. You will retest casting and printers. Kill Switch on the gateway blacks out the TV—Kill Switch.
Flashing a travel router on venue Wi-Fi stacks an unknown firmware on a cafe AP—public Wi-Fi. Compatible protocol on the gateway is the usual call; boxes drop UDP—protocol.
Accounts, SMS, session caps
Boxes do not receive SMS. Finish the code on a phone, then sign in on the TV. The session still occupies a slot; the TV will look like it “needs login every hour” if it fights the laptop. Give it its own session or only connect while watching.
No-log copy does not get stronger because you moved the process to a router—policy. Third-party “QuickQ router plugins” that ingest your password are unsupported.
Stop line
No TV package on the download page: do not take a forum APK. Apple TV: no profiles. Routers: no flash cookbook here. Three installs, no system VPN prompt: stop. Keep one-tap on the phone; TV Direct. First-run: connect, guides, FAQ.
One sentence for the living room: “the TV does not run QuickQ; the gateway is that NUC.” Easier than a half-dead autostart APK behind the soundbar.
